‘Meet’ Croydon’s musical icons and join a carnival of giant puppets, animated by local dance companies.

Come and meet Stormzy, Samuel Coleridge-Taylor, Nadia Rose, Shri Sriram, Desmond Dekker, Mad Professor, Captain Sensible, and Ralph McTell* and join a like-never-before musical journey through over a century of great music!

Presented by Strange Cargo and Scanners Inc and featuring some of Croydon’s best dancers and choreographers – Simeon Qsyea; Anusha Subramanyam (Beeja Dance); Jose Agudo (Jose Agudo Dance Company); and Caram-el Solider, along with community dancers from Beeja and dance students from Coulsdon College.

This event is part of Croydon Remix, the closing weekend of our year as London Borough of Culture.

Our ‘Musical Icons’ will also be making a few guest appearances…

Catch them in the Children’s Library (Croydon Clocktower) at 4pm, Saturday 23 March.
