Funding available for live music events in Croydon town centre
Posted Friday 22 August 2025

We’re bringing the buzz to Croydon town centre through the quieter autumn and winter months and supporting local venues to host live music events.
Grants ranging from £250 – £2500 are available to Croydon-based venues, arts organisations and creative companies to host live music events in the town centre through a new Gigs Grants scheme from Croydon Council.
Applicants can apply for up to £2,500 toward the delivery of a music-based event taking place between 25 October 2025 and 14 February 2026.
This could include bands playing in pubs; a music promoter or venue organising a one-off special event, or the inclusion of live music as part of a wider event such as a multi-art form festival/event or a development event.
There is a total pot of £15,000 available for organisations and events taking place within the town centre and a £5,000 additional funding for the rest of the borough.
