Join our regular Wellbeing Walks at Croydon’s spectacular Farthing Downs for a refreshing step into nature!

Farthing Downs is a site of special scientific interest and is part of the South London Downs National Nature Reserve.

The chalk grassland habitat is home to wildflowers and rare species of flowers. Depending on the time of year, you might see orchids, greater yellow rattle, scabious and many other chalk downland flowers.

It’s also a home to birds, where you can spot yellow hammers, skylarks, long tailed tits, kestrels, buzzards and red kites.

We know that walking can boost our mental wellbeing by reducing stress, boosting our mood and even enhancing our focus.

When combined with getting out into nature, it can also help to lower anxiety and promote relaxation and mindfulness!

Our regular Wellbeing Walks are an opportunity to take a break from the demands of everyday life and recharge our batteries.

Sign up now to receive information about the next Wellbeing Walk at Farthing Downs, in partnership with the Ramblers Association.
