In this excellent introduction to basket making for beginners, you will craft your owne beautiful openwork hanging basket – perfect for storing onions or garlic, socks, toys or anything else you can think of!
You will be guided by Surrey-based basket maker, Judith Needham, who also specialises in making playhouses from woven willow!
What time is the workshop?
There are two workshops taking place at Croydon Clocktower on Sun 5 Oct. Book here for the 11am session, or book here for the 2.30pm session. Spaces are limited and must be booked in advance.
How long does the workshop last?
The workshop lasts 2 hours and 30 mins. This ensures we have enough time for everyone to create their own basket from start to finish!
What do I need to bring?
No need to bring anything. The workshop price of £12.50 allows for all materials to be provided, and for you to take your basket home with you at the end of the session.
