As part of LGBT+ History Month this February, join Queer Croydon for a hands-on creative workshop exploring LGBTQ+ histories.
Open to LGBTQ+ adults and allies, these community-led creative workshops invite participants to explore history, heritage and lived experience through collage, creative writing, food decoration and gentle improv.
Participants will rotate through four creative stations in a welcoming and inclusive environment. Each activity will be led by a different Queer Croydon facilitator including Joel Aston (Roleplay and improv), Merlin Golder-Coelho (Food decoration), Michael Dare (Collage) and Sabiyha Rasheed (Creative Wordplay).
Workshops are 2 hours long and you can choose to attend either a morning or afternoon session.
Morning session: 10.30am – 12.30pm
Afternoon session: 2.30pm – 4.30pm
Workshops are free to attend but you must complete a booking form in advance to confirm your attendance.
All materials are provided. No prior creative experience is required.
