Les Grooms – Outdoor Performance

Eight “Bell Boys” from a famous palace have taken a holiday to follow their passion for music and burlesque – and they’re bringing the fun to the streets of Croydon!

Expect singing, dancing, music-making and poetry in the most unexpected places, as these playful performers turn every appearance into a lively, chaotic and unforgettable experience.

Their music is wonderfully varied and full of surprises, spanning medieval tunes, jazz, classical, ethnic, and film music, with around 100 pieces in their repertoire. For this special weekend, they’ve also been learning some Samuel Coleridge-Taylor compositions and will be performing their own versions alongside their usual set.
