Dementia Friendly and subtitled.

A young peasant maid working in the house of painter Johannes Vermeer becomes his talented assistant and the model for one of his most famous works.

Delft, 1665. Maidservant Griet catches the eye of painter Johannes Vermeer, who allows her into his studio and begins to paint her. But the family jealousies and the wayward eye of the artist’s chief patron make life increasingly uncomfortable for Griet. Cinematographer Eduardo Serra lights the film “so exquisitely that each frame looks like a Vermeer” (Rolling Stone). This is Croydon – London Borough of Culture screening.
