Open House Festival: Croydon Town Hall Tours

Every hour from 10am - 1pm - Katharine St, Croydon CR0 1NX

Join a guided tour of Croydon Town Hall and gain rare access to this unique Victorian-style, Grade II listed building.

Croydon Town Hall was designed by local architect Charles Henman and opened by TRH the Prince and Princess of Wales in 1896. Parts, including the former court rooms, have been converted for the Lifetimes Museum and exhibition galleries. Since the mid-1980s the Town Hall has been completely renovated and restored, and the Mayor’s Parlour and the committee rooms have reverted to their original purpose.

Guided tours will take place on Saturday 19 September at Croydon Town Hall, Katharine St, Croydon CR0 1NX, at the following times:

  • 10am – 10.45am
  • 11am – 11.45am
  • 12pm – 12.45pm (step-free tour)
  • 1pm – 1.45pm

FREE, no booking required. Places on all tours will be allocated on a first-come-first-served basis. Please arrive at least 10 minutes prior to the start time.
