Croydon: A Curio-City Exhibition
14th - 28th Nov 2026 , 10:00am - Croydon Urban Room, Units 161-162 & 1161-1162 Whitgift Centre, Croydon CR0 1UQ
What happens when you invite people to turn their neighbourhood into a studio? What do their creations say about their relationship to the places they live and work? What do they reveal about their hopes for the future?
All summer, Creative Quests, in collaboration with Culture Croydon, brought The Curiosity Rover to Croydon town centre. The Rover is a travelling art studio where people collect creative ‘missions’ that prompt exploration and storytelling. When the Rover is in situ, it becomes a place to gather, make things and learn how other people experience the world.
This exhibition showcases the creations made by Croydonians at The Curiosity Rover and invites you to imagine how this spirit of curiosity could shape Croydon’s future.
At a time when bigger questions are being asked about the role of town centres and high streets, and how to nurture more connected communities, Croydon: A Curio-City explores how we might reimagine town centres as spaces of exploration, possibility and connection.
The exhibition is free and no booking is required!
