A day of Open Space discussion for Croydon’s arts and cultural community.
As the current London Borough of Culture, Croydon is a hive of creative activity and partnership working. We are now asking ourselves, what happens next? How do we build on the amazing work of 2023/24? If organisations in the borough want to continue to work together, what might that model look like? What already exists and how do we work together whilst also stand apart to ensure funding and longevity?
To help us find that out, the Culture Croydon Legacy Group felt that a one-day informal and inclusive symposium would be a great idea – for all of our local arts and culture companies, charities, organisations and businesses to participate in a day of discussion towards an outcome of ‘what should the structure be for Culture Croydon’? To support and guide this day we are working with Kaizen Partnership to facilitate. We are also inviting a small group of guest speakers to share inspiring perspectives on how they have previously worked or are currently working. What worked and why and pitfalls to watch out for.
There are some criteria for attendance (i.e. being Croydon based) and at present we are limiting booking to 2 tickets per company/organisation to allow for maximum inclusion. Once you have booked, we will be back in touch with more details.
