The Creative Health team is collaborating with organisations in Croydon to deliver one-off creative and cultural events (150+ attendees) that spread awareness of important health topics and services in engaging and accessible ways. Afya: Black Women’s Health & Wellbeing Event with Soul Purpose 360
Saturday 2 August 2025, 11am-5pm, Waterside Centre, 26 Avenue Road, South Norwood, SE25 4DX _____________________________ Created by Soul Purpose 360, this Black Women’s Health Event brought DJ Smurf, artists and health practitioners together for a fun sharing of health and wellbeing information for Black women.

Residents came along to listen, join in, and find a range of health information and services to support healthy lifestyles.

Barbershop Uncut Stories with Caring for Hair
Friday 14 November 2025, 7-8pm, Stanley Arts, 12 South Norwood Hill, London SE25 6AB _____________________________ This free event invited adults, in particular Black men, to a theatre show breaking down the myths and realities of prostate cancer, providing a humorous and heart warming take on real life experiences followed by an expert Q&A panel.
