Apply now: Gigs Grants Scheme 2026-27
Posted Friday 4 September 2026
After Croydon’s year as the Mayor’s London Borough of Culture, Croydon Council has continued to build upon its legacy of supporting the cultural sector through the Gigs Grants Scheme.
Now in its third year, applications are open to apply for up to £2500 toward the delivery of a music based event between 26 October 2026 and 15 February 2027. The scheme is designed to help support Croydon-based venues and creatives during (what can be) the quieter winter months.
To be eligible for this funding you must be a Croydon-based:
- Pub/bar/hospitality venue
- Music/arts venue
- Music/arts organisation
- Voluntary music organisation
- Faith organisation that hosts secular music events
In 2025/26, the scheme funded seven gigs in the town centre and wider borough. This year a total of £15,000 is available; only £5,000 of this is available for events outside of the town centre.
